A family outing to the Palisades Mall on Friday Chol Hamoed took a devastating turn when a Lakewood resident suffered a sudden cardiac arrest due to a ruptured aneurysm. The man, who was with his family on a Chol Hamoed trip, was rushed to the hospital in critical condition.
Thanks to the swift response of Rockland Hatzolah paramedics, the man’s heartbeat was regained, and he underwent emergency surgery. However, his condition remains extremely serious, and he is currently in the intensive care unit (ICU) fighting for his life.
The name Refoel is being added to the man’s name.
