Christopher Green, wanted in connection with a series of burglaries spanning Lakewood and Toms River Townships, has been apprehended. The arrest, which took place on May 1st, culminates a multi-agency effort to apprehend Green.
Between March 30th and April 6th, Green was allegedly involved in over 15 burglaries that occurred in both Lakewood and Toms River, on at least one occasion he was armed with a handgun. Additional information developed by Lakewood Detective Kevin Donnelly and Toms River Detective Jesse Robertazzi identified residences in Toms River and Neptune, as well as several motor vehicles associated with Green.
Court ordered search warrants were executed, resulting in the recovery of proceeds taken from several of the burglaries. Additionally, authorities seized four firearms, including an AR15 and a sub gun.
Green now faces a total of 17 criminal charges, including 1st Degree Robbery, 2nd Degree Armed Burglary, Conspiracy, and multiple weapons-related offenses.
