Law Enforcement Officer Seriously Injured In Crash On Cedarbridge Avenue

A law enforcement officer suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries in a car crash on Cedarbridge Avenue on Friday afternoon.

Hatzolah and Lakewood EMS were summoned to respond to the area of 105 Cedarbridge shortly after 2 PM on Friday, after the corrections officer reportedly struck a minivan from behind with his vehicle, causing serious injuries to himself.

Lakewood EMS transported the officer to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with Hatzolah paramedics onboard.
