Sources tell Lakewood Alerts that Agudah NJ Director Rabbi Avi Schnall is resigning from his position at the most preeminent frum advocacy organization, Agudath Israel of America.
Rabbi Schnall, who has been at the helm of Agudah’s New Jersey operations for nearly a decade, intends to run for the NJ-30 Assembly seat as a Democrat, posing a challenge to current Republican Assemblyman Sean Kean.

Can’t wait for this election. Roshei yeshiva releasing letters. Then sayign they didn’t sign them. Then the fake phone robocalls at 11pm waking up our sleeping kids telling us how this is pikuach nefesh etc. Then the next robo call saying that no one endorsed him. then another robo calling saying it IS true. Back and forth.
then election day comes.
Schnall loses badly.
Then we have an incumbant who was good to us, now furious at us.
