Lakewood Alerts regrets to inform you of the petirah Rav Avraham Stefansky z”l, a Talmid of Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l.
Rav Avraham was a talmid at Bais Medrash Govoah in Lakewood during its early days and developed a close relationship with the rosh yeshiva, Rav Aharon Kotler zt”l. He often drove and accompanied Rav Aharon, earning his gratitude for his support and assistance.
He later moved to Israel and became the director general of Neve Yerushalayim in 1989. As a right-hand man to founder Rabbi Dovid Refson, he provided exceptional leadership for the staff and students.
The levayah is taking place at the Bendheim Bais Medrash of Bais Medrash Govoah, located at 617 6th Street in Lakewood, NJ, at 2 p.m.
