Lakewood Alerts regrets to inform you of the petirah of R’ Meir Hertz (Meir Naftali ben Tzvi) z”l, the founder of the Tashbar elementary school. He was 75.
R’ Meir is survived by his wife, Chani yb”l, and his children: Avraham Mordechai, Yitzchak, Dovid, Chaim, Yechezkel, Mrs. Gitty Eisenberg, Mrs. Rivky Birnbaum, Mrs. Matti Marcus, Mrs. Tzippy Colton, and Mrs. Hadassah Glantz.
He was predeceased by his son, R’ Tzvi Hertz z”l, who was niftar in 2012 at the age of 29 following a sudden medical emergency.
The levaya is scheduled to take place Wednesday afternoon at 3 PM at the Tashbar elementary school, 82 Oak Street in Lakewood.
Following the levaya, the Aron will be flown on a Wednesday night flight to Eretz Yisroel, with kevurah to take place in Beit Shemesh on Thursday.
