Jackson Zoning Board Approves Shul in Soon-to-be-Built 250-Home Development

After first denying an application to build a shul on the site of a 250-home, 160-acre development that will soon begin construction in the area of E. Veterans and Whitesville Road, the Jackson Zoning Board this evening approved the shul’s construction.

As first reported on Lakewood Alerts, the development, being built by Vito Cardinale and Randy Johnson, will consist of 205 single family homes, 6 low- to middle-income attached homes with a total of 48 units, and now a two-story shul, as well.

The approved plans call for the shul to have 8,200 square feet of space, including a main bais medrash of about 6,800 square feet. The shul will also include a mikvah and kiddush room in its basement.
