PHOTO ALBUM: Lakewood Police Chief Gregory Meyer Marks 37 Years of Service

Friday marked 37 years of service for Chief Gregory H. Meyer who became the 12th Chief of Police on August 1, 2016, for the Lakewood Police Department.

“As the department grows so has its goals and initiatives,” the police department said. “Chief Meyer is committed in leading the Lakewood Police Department by promoting effective crime reduction, building public trust, and safeguarding officer well-being.”

“This is accomplished through offering quality service, advanced mobile equipment, contemporary in-house technology, up-to-date training for the entire staff and newly created positions to better serve the community.”

“The men and women look forward to many more years of his leadership and guidance,” the statement concluded.
