Police Called in from Brick, Toms River to Assist with Out-of-Control Partiers in Lakewood [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

More than three dozen Lakewood police officers worked for several hours to regain control over an increasingly raucous crowd in downtown Lakewood on Thursday night.

What began as little more than a convoy of vehicles through downtown and hundreds of people lining the streets, devolved quickly into donuts being performed in the streets, fireworks being set off, cops pepper-spraying rowdy partiers, and several arrests being made.

Dozens of officers from Brick, Toms River, and the Ocean County Sheriff’s Department responded to assist with the out-of-control crowds.
