The defense team for SCHI founder Rabbi Osher Eisemann has filed its rebuttal to the prosecution’s appeal to overturn Judge Joseph Paone’s ruling ordering a new trial due to explosive new evidence exonerating Rabbi Eisemann.
The prosecution now has two weeks to file its rebuttal of the defense’s rebuttal, after which the appellate court will rule on whether to continue with a new trial or, chalilah, send Rabbi Eisemann back for sentencing.
