Dear friends,
As we are all too well aware, government funding to our yeshivos is extremely limited. One of the few sources of funding available for our children is for students in need of compensatory education. Over the last decade and a half, despite costs having increased exponentially, the state has not increased the amount available for our students.
Our students are not receiving the funds they deserve- and now, you can help!
Over the next few weeks, the Legislature will be introducing its budget. It’s crucial that we act now and ask our legislative leaders to increase funds for compensatory education (“Chapter 192/193 funding).
The greater nonpublic school community is running a grassroots effort, galvanizing New Jersey nonpublic school parents to reach out to their legislatures. There is growing support for our request and our goal is well within our reach.
However, time is limited and we must act today! By clicking here, you can help ensure our students get the help they need and the funding they deserve.
