Hundreds of homes have been plunged into darkness as a widespread power outage struck the West Gate area on Wednesday evening.
Businesses in the Kosher West shopping plaza are also without power, as JCP&L crews respond to the outage.

JCP&L is sending additional crews to resolve the power outage affecting West Gate and nearby areas. The current estimated restoration time is 9:30 PM.
