PHOTOS: Wildfire in Manchester Now 100% Contained, Fire Officials Say

The New Jersey Forest Fire Service says it has achieved 100 percent containment of a 315-acre wildfire near Pasadena Road in Brendan T. Byrne State Forest in Manchester and Woodland Townships.

Forest Fire Service staff will remain on scene to continue improving containment lines and monitor the area to ensure public safety. Smoke conditions may remain for several hours.

The fire’s cause remains under investigation
