It is with much regret that we inform you of the petirah of HaRav Shlomo Eliezer Danziger, a longtime marbitz torah and renowned talmid chochom. He was 101.
Rav Shlomo Eliezer served as a rebbi for decades at Yeshiva Rav Samson Raphael Hirsch in Washington Heights before moving to Lakewood approximately 30 years ago.
Utilizing the lessons and hadracha he learned from his own rebbeim, HaRav Dovid Liebowitz zt”l, HaRav Chaim Pinchos Scheinberg zt”l, and HaRav Dovid Lifshutz zt”l, he impressed an appreciation and love of torah to thousands of talmidim and all those around him.
The levaya is tentatively set to take place at 11 am Thursday morning at the 7th Street Chapel in Lakewood, with kevurah in Eretz Yisroel.
