Officials Say New Jersey Forest Fire Now 95% Contained [PHOTOS]

The New Jersey Forest Fire Service has reached 95 percent containment of a 13,500-acre wildfire at the Wharton State Forest in Washington, Shamong, Hammonton & Mullica Townships, officials said Wednesday morning

There is an ongoing investigation into an illegal campfire which has been determined to be the cause of the fire. Anyone with information can contact the Forest Fire Service’s Division B office at 609-726-9010.
