Lakewood Police Increasing Security at Schools

In light of the tragic and senseless shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, there will be heightened law enforcement presence at all schools throughout the Township of Lakewood today. Chief Gregory Meyer, along with our other local, county and state counterparts are dedicated to protecting the safety of our children, teachers and the administrators of our public and private schools.
We ask that you keep those affected by this senseless act of violence in your thoughts and prayers and encourage you to report any suspicious activity. We will remain vigilant against any threat to our schools.
