Sunday, August 28, 2022, at 11pm Officer Bylsma in the area of America Avenue and New Hampshire Avenue conducted a motor vehicle stop. The driver of the vehicle Nain Ramos-Deleon, 29 years old, from Lakewood NJ., was under the influence and was arrested for DWI.
Ramos-Deleon was charged with DWI 39: 4-50 and summonses were issued: 39:3-47a; 39:4-96.
Officers’ E. Micallef, R. Meyer Jr., B. Rodriguez, N. Romeo assisted in the investigation.

Thursday, August 25, 2022, at 630pm, Officer S. Ward was on stand by at E. Kennedy Blvd., for a previous incident that occurred, and suspect Candace Smith, 26 years old, from Lakewood NJ., returned to the scene. Smith was unauthorized to do so per court order. Officer Ward requested dispatch for back-up officers to assist. Sgt. Menck advised that she had an active warrant and place her under arrest. Officer Ward was effectuating the arrest, when Smith became uncooperative, and did not comply with officers command and resisted.
Candace was charged with the following: resisting arrest 2c:29-2a(1) and obstruction 2c:29-1a

DWI Hit & Run w/Injuries
Friday, August 26, 2022, at 10:40pm, Officer J. Mahecha responded to the area of Joda Dr., for a suspicious vehicle with heavy front damage, that fit the description of a motor vehicle hit/run crash that fled the scene in the area of Ocean Avenue & Regal Ct. Further investigation revealed driver, Damian Sanchez 44 years old, from Jackson NJ. Sanchez was arrested with the following charges:
D.W.I. 39: 4-50
Reckless Driving 39: 4-96
Leaving the Scene of an Accident 39: 4-129
Failure to Report an Accident 39: 4-130
Officers K. Carrington, B. Rodriguez, K. Seehausen, M. McAvoy, D. Hourigan assisted in the investigation.

Saturday, August 27, 2022 at 2:35am, Officer Prisco responded to the area of E. 7th street for a suspicious male allegedly entering a vehicle. Officer located Ricardo Sedano-Pineda, 45 years old, from Lakewood NJ., in the area and he was arrested for a confirmed active warrant.
Officers M. Banuelos, M. Villalba assisted in the investigation.

Wednesday, August 31, 2022 at 2pm, Officer J. Mathews and Officer D. Hourigan responded to a report of trespassing at Thornbury Ct. Dispatch confirmed the that there was a TRO in effect for John Filistovich, 59 years old, from Lakewood NJ. Officers approached the residence to make contact with Filistovich by knocking on the door. One of the officers was able to see inside the residence and Filistovich was carrying a weapon. Filistovich responded by yelling through the door way and refused to honor the TRO in effect. Officers at the scene positioned themselves the perimeter of the residence. Hostage Negotiator Lt. Robert Shimonovich arrived on scene, and with the assistance of the other officers, Filistovich was apprehended with out incident and charged with the following:
DV Criminal Mischief 2C:17-3; Possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes 2C:39-4; Terroristic Threats 2C:12-3.
Lt. R. Shimonovich, Sgt. C. Messer, Officers E. Vega, D. Merrill, B. Vega assisted in the investigation.
