Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer Marks 36 Years in Law Enforcement

Lakewood Police Chief Greg Meyer today marked 36 years of service as a police officer. Chief Meyer rose to the leadership of the Lakewood Police Department on August 1st, 2016, replacing retiring Chief Rob Lawson, who was age limited.

“Since Chief Meyer’s leadership, the Police Department has been able to achieve significant progression by providing quality service, advanced mobile equipment in every vehicle, contemporary in-house technology, up-to-date training for the entire staff and newly created positions to build trust and better serve the community,” the police department wrote in a Facebook post.

Here’s to wishing him many more years of outstanding service to the Lakewood community!
