Mayor Ray Coles recently paid a visit to The Special Children’s Center, where he was shown some of the many programs, classes and activities that take place every day for the special children of the Lakewood area.
The mayor met with many of the staff members and children and heard about their busy and meaningful days in The Center. He was very impressed with what he saw.
Mayor Coles relates, “My recent visit to the Special Children’s Center reminded me why I love this town so much. The incredible volunteers and staff work extremely hard to put a smile on every child’s face. The joy and love exhibited made me grateful to represent a town that makes sure everybody, no matter what their limitations, has an opportunity to reach their full potential.”
