Jewish Family’s Home In Jackson Severely Damaged In Fire

A home owned by a Jewish family was severely damaged in a Monday afternoon fire in the Brookwood neighborhood in Jackson.

Firefighters were called to the home on Vermont Avenue for a reported structure fire, and on arrival found portions of the home engulfed in flames. Fire suppression efforts were successful, but serious damage was caused to the home.

Thankfully, nobody was injured in the fire, though the home is currently uninhabitable.
