Ocean County will be holding a Police Unity Tour ceremony on May 9th, in which two fallen officers – including a Lakewood cop – will be honored.
The event, scheduled to take place at the Ocean County Justice Complex, will honor Lakewood Police Captain Joseph Goertz, who passed away in November 2021, and Sheriff’s Officer Mathew Horton, who passed in 2022.
