Emergency personnel rushed to an area on the north side of Lake Carasaljo on Sunday afternoon to rescue a man who had fallen into the icy waters.
The man was able to be extracted from the water prior to the arrival of a water rescue team. He was treated by EMS before being transported to a hospital.
