Private School Transportation Bill Passes Assembly Committee, Heads To Full Legislature Vote

Update: The busing bill passed the Appropriations Committee unanimously Thursday. It now moves to the full Senate and Assembly for a full vote in both chambers.

06/12: The groundbreaking private school transportation bill lauded by Agudah was passed on Monday afternoon by the state Senate Budget & Appropriations Committee as it rapidly moves through the New Jersey Legislature.

As previously reported on Lakewood Alerts, the bill, if approved by the full Assembly and Senate and signed into law by Gov. Murphy, would present a huge win for all private schools, Jewish and non-Jewish alike, as well as for school districts across the state.
