Fundraiser Launched to Build First Mikvah in Manchester

A fundraising campaign has been launched to provide the Manchester community with its first-ever mikvah – a pressing need in the community which now boasts hundreds of families.

Currently, Manchester and nearby Toms River residents must drive 15 to 20 minutes to reach the closest mikvah, creating headaches for the hundreds of families already settled in Manchester’s environs and the hundreds more planning or considering moving there.

The planned mikvah, which will be open all week, is l’zchus a couple who have been married for 17 years yet have not yet been blessed with children. Their names are Eliyahu Dovid ben Dina Devorah and Tziporah bas Chaya Sarah.

Donations for the mikvah can be made by clicking here.
