Olivia Paige, 35, of Toms River, was sentenced to seven years in New Jersey State Prison (NJSP) for robbery, possession of cocaine, and aggravated assault. The sentences will run concurrently, and Paige will be required to serve at least 85% of her prison sentence before being eligible for parole.
Paige pleaded guilty to all charges on April 22, 2024. The robbery incident occurred on August 29, 2023, on Clifton Ave. in Lakewood, where Paige brandished a knife and demanded money from a female victim. She was later found at a nearby eatery with a five-inch utility knife.
Additionally, Paige was sentenced for possession of cocaine in connection with a January 11, 2023, incident in Brick Township, where she was found with the drug after being arrested for shoplifting. She was also sentenced for aggravated assault for spitting in the faces of officers during an arrest on April 14, 2023, in Lakewood Township.
Paige has been detained at the Ocean County Jail since August 29, 2023. Her sentences will run concurrently, and she will be subject to the terms of the No Early Release Act.
Seven years sounds like a light sentence for a career criminal on drugs.
