Woman Facing Eviction Dies After Setting Home On Fire [VIDEO]

According to New Jersey State Police, a Monmouth County home caught fire on Wednesday morning after a woman, who had been served an eviction notice, refused to leave and threatened to blow up the house.

The woman’s comments were reported to authorities, leading troopers to be called to the home on Cedar Court in the small borough of Roosevelt, as per a statement from the New Jersey State Police.

At 11:10 a.m., investigators noted smoke coming from the home before it became completely engulfed in flames. Multiple fire crews arrived to extinguish the blaze, and the woman, who was not identified, was found dead inside.
