Who Dumped 500 Pounds of Cooked Pasta By The River?

In what is easily one of the most bizarre New Jersey stories of 2023, someone dumped a staggering 500 pounds of cooked pasta near a stream in Old Bridge. Why? Who knows, but it’s become a political issue.

Former township council candidate Nina Jochnowitz said a concerned citizen alerted her to the weird discovery, and she went down to the stream to see it for herself. The township was made aware of the gooey grotesqueness sitting down by the water.

It’s become a political issue by raising concerns from residents about a lack of township bulk garbage pickup. Old Bridge is the only town in Middlesex County that does not provide such services.

Police have not identified who dumped all that pasta, but safe to assume it was Matt Foley, who is known to live in a van down by the river.
