Wellpoint New Jersey is hosting a community event today, Thursday, January 22, in recognition of Maternal Health Awareness Day at its Lakewood storefront.
The event, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 100 Clifton Ave. in Lakewood, includes free food and diaper distribution, health screenings, and maternal health information for attendees.
Organizers said supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
