A Jackson public school parent reached out to Lakewood Alerts to express her anger at Jackson public school officials who she says are ignoring preventable violence in district-run schools.
The irate mother shared a video of a brutal fight she says recently took place in Jackson Memorial High School, which can be seen below.
“Myself and other parents have made it clear to school officials that this cannot go on,” the parent told Lakewood Alerts. “This is at least the second violent fight at this school in the past month. But school officials have essentially given us the cold shoulder.”
“Sure, you’ll hear in the media that school funding is being cut. Great, but where’s the hollering over our kids getting beaten senseless at school?” she added.
“I’m really tired of officials sweeping these fights under the rug and putting more children at risk of violence and harm.”
The videos below were sent via text, hence the low quality. Still, the brutality of the fight is unmistakable.
Exactly what are they fighting over? These are kids going to public school… not exactly the most privileged kids… so what to they have to fight over??
As a Jackson kid, they’ll fight over anything bro. They actively look for fights.
And then they complain about yeshivos…
