Sen. John Fetterman pulled off an epic troll of both embattled New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez and recently expelled Rep. George Santos in one fell swoop.
“I thought my ethically-challenged colleague [Bob Menendez] could use some encouragement given his substantial legal problems,” Fetterman wrote in a post on X. “So, I approached a seasoned expert on the matter to give ‘Bobby from Jersey’ some advice.”
Earlier Monday, Santos launched a profile on Cameo, a platform where customers can request holiday messages, a pep talk, roasts, birthday wishes and more from a wide range of public figures. Santos, who calls himself a “Former congressional ‘Icon’” on his profile, is selling the personal videos for $200 each.
Menendez is facing indictments on charges of bribery and for having “provided sensitive U.S. Government information and [taking] other steps that secretly aided the Government of Egypt.”
