WATCH: Jewish Jersey City Mayor Reflects on the Shoah on Holocaust Memorial Day

Jersey City Mayor Steve Fulop: Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day, which is why I felt it was important to share this short video of my mom and grandma speaking of their personal experiences.

After the atrocities my mom and grandma describe, my grandparents picked up the pieces of a broken family and immigrated to the United States.

Antisemitism, and hatred of any kind, has no place in our society. And today, Holocaust Remembrance Day, is a reminder of that.
