WATCH: Funnel Cloud Captured On Video Over Ocean County

A college student spending an afternoon on an Ocean County beach captured a funnel cloud during intense storms last week, video shared with NJ.com shows.

Forrest Jennings, a student at Stockton University, was leaving the beach at Island Beach State Park when he captured the video.

Funnel clouds only officially become tornadoes when they touch ground, which this particular cloud did not.
