A bicyclist was struck but not seriously injured on Friday l by a vehicle whose driver then fled the scene. Luckily, a Hatzolah member who witnessed the incident was able to follow the fleeing vehicle and radioed its location back to Hatzolah dispatchers, who then notified police.
The driver was arrested a short time later.
It was not immediately clear whether the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the accident.
