If you’ve ever wanted to be in attendance at a speech delivered by Vice President Kamala Harris, you have the opportunity to be at one today right here in New Jersey.
The Veep is scheduled to speak today at the 113th NAACP National Convention in Atlantic City, delivering the keynote address in which she is expected to highlight the Biden administration’s national work to help black people across the country.
The speech itself is expected to begin at around noon, so if you’d like to go from the Lakewood area, you better run. Oh, and you probably need tickets, too.
Following her speech, Harris is expected to speak with New Jersey legislators about protecting women’s access to reproductive health, including abortions.
