The Jackson Jewish Community Council has issued an urgent call asking the kehilla to turn out to vote in Tuesday’s primary election.
Specifically, the JJCC noted that the Ocean County Board of Commissioners have been extremely helpful to Orthodox Jewish communities in the county, particularly in upgrading infrastructure and providing special services.
“It is important that those in the county see our numbers are growing and that we, as a community, vote b’achdus,” the notice says.
That line is an apparent swipe at a movement in Toms River to vote against that of the Lakewood and Jackson Jewish communities, who have endorsed Frank Sadeghi for Commissioner, whereas they endorsed Frank Quinn for the position.
