The Lakewood Police Department has welcomed two new officers following their graduation from the Ocean County Police Academy.
Officer Caleb Carter (#463) and Officer Zachary Pitts (#467) were honored this week as members of the Basic Police Recruit Class #122, which held its graduation ceremony at Toms River High School North.
Both officers successfully completed the rigorous training program required of all new recruits. They will now begin their service as sworn members of the Lakewood Police Department.
“We congratulate Officers Carter and Pitts on this significant achievement,” the department said in a statement. “We look forward to the positive impact they will make in our community.”
