Two New Jersey Hospitals Ranked in Top 50 of Healthgrades Best US Medical Centers

Two hospitals in New Jersey have been ranked by Healthgrades among the top 50 medical centers in the entire United States.

Morristown Medical Center was the highest ranked hospital in New Jersey. It got especially high grades in bariatric surgery, cardiac, critical care, gastrointestinal, gynecologic surgeries, labor and delivery, neurosciences, orthopedic, spine surgery and vascular.

Overlook Medical Center in Summit also cracked the top 50, scoring exceptionally well in the areas of bariatric surgery, critical care, gastrointestinal, gynecologic surgeries, labor and delivery, neurosciences, pulmonary and spine surgery.

One hospital made it into the top 100: The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood.

Six additional New Jersey hospitals made it into the top 250, including Jersey Shore University Medical Center. The hospital, which was recently ranked the second-best in New Jersey, received high grades for cardiac, critical care and neurosciences.

The remaining hospitals are Bayshore Medical Center in Holmdel, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, Princeton Medical Center, and Chilton Medical Center.
