Two New Firefighters Sworn In as Lakewood Expands Its Firefighting Team

The Lakewood Board of Fire Commissioners, along with Fire Chief Jonathan Yahr, announced the appointment of volunteer firefighter Aldo Montes and the official swearing-in of Career Firefighters Joseph T. Bisogno and Marvin J. Pisco. These appointments and oaths of office were administered during the Board of Fire Commissioners meeting held on June 9th, 2025.

Career Firefighters Joseph T. Bisogno and Marvin J. Pisco were appointed in January and recently completed their training at the fire academy. Their official oaths mark the culmination of their academy experience and the beginning of their careers in fire service with the Lakewood Fire Department.

The Lakewood Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners, along with Lakewood Fire Department Fire Chief Jonathan Yahr, continue to seek individuals who have a desire to serve the Lakewood Community.
