A coordinated multi-agency investigation has led to the arrest of two Seaside Heights men accused of trafficking stolen firearms and narcotics across Ocean County, Prosecutor Brad Billhimer announced Wednesday.
Detectives from the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Strike Force, working alongside the Lakewood Township Police Street Crimes Unit, Toms River Police Patrol Division, Seaside Heights Police Department, the Ocean County Sheriff’s Office, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, uncovered an illicit firearms operation allegedly run by Michael Daluesio, 43, and Nathan Miller, 31, both of Seaside Heights.
According to authorities, investigators learned that Daluesio was in possession of a 9mm handgun he was offering to sell in exchange for drugs or cash. Surveillance began on October 27, 2025, as Daluesio drove a rented vehicle through Lakewood with Miller in the passenger seat. Detectives followed the pair to a public park, where Daluesio exited the car and entered a portable toilet. Officers detained Miller — who had moved into the driver’s seat — without incident.
Daluesio was arrested moments later as he exited the portable toilet. Inside, detectives discovered a paper bag containing a 9mm handgun and loose ammunition, later confirmed stolen from Montgomery, Alabama.
Further investigation led to a court-authorized search of Miller’s Toms River storage unit, where detectives recovered a .380 caliber handgun, also reported stolen out of Mobile, Alabama, along with drug paraphernalia.
Both men face multiple weapons and narcotics-related charges.
Both defendants are being held at the Ocean County Jail pending detention hearings.
