Two Killed In Horrific Car Crash On Cross Street In Lakewood [PHOTOS & VIDEOS]

A devastating car accident on Cross Street near the Hearthstone neighborhood in Lakewood late tonight has claimed the life of two people and left another hospitalized, as authorities investigate whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.

Hatzolah and Lakewood EMS rushed to the scene following reports of a serious collision. First responders arrived to find at least one critically injured individual trapped inside one of the vehicles. After a difficult extraction, the patient was pronounced dead at the scene.

A second individual sustained critical injuries and died a short time later. Another patient was transported by Lakewood EMS to Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Their condition has not yet been released.

The area was immediately cordoned off as law enforcement launched an investigation. Preliminary indications suggest that the driver who may have caused the crash was under the influence of alcohol or narcotics.

Police have yet to release the identities of those involved, pending family notification.

Cross Street remains closed between Hearthstone and surrounding intersections as the Lakewood Police Department Accident Reconstruction Unit conducts its investigation.

  1. This illegal immigrant was arrested in March 25, April 25 of DUI. He should have been deported after all of the DUI’s and another conviction in 2023. I blame Nj and the judges.
NOW HE KILLED A FAMILY. God help you people.
