Transformers Crash Onto Car In Lakewood As Tropical Storm Nears [VIDEO]

A pair of electrical transformers fell onto a parked vehicle on East County Line Road in Lakewood on Friday afternoon, hours before Tropical Storm Ophelia begins making its presence firmly known in the region.

Thankfully, nobody was in the vehicle at the time of the incident, and the fire department is at the scene to ensure all electrical components do not pose a danger to locals.

Ophelia, which was named on Friday afternoon after strengthening from Potential Tropical Storm 16, is expected to bring heavy rain and wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour to the Lakewood region and all of southern New Jersey this weekend.
