Tragedy At Lakewood Construction Site: Worker Dies After Fall At Cedarbridge Business Park

A construction worker tragically lost his life this morning after falling from a high-rise office building under construction in Lakewood’s rapidly expanding Cedarbridge Business Park.

The incident occurred at Tower 5, a multi-story office building currently being built as part of the business park’s expansion.

Upon arrival, responders found the 51-year-old victim who had fallen from the third story of the structure. Despite efforts to stabilize him, he was transported to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC) in Lakewood, where he was later pronounced deceased.

The Lakewood Police Detective Bureau and CSI are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall. Further details on the cause of the incident have not yet been released.

Tower 5 is one of several large-scale commercial projects underway at Cedarbridge Business Park, a rapidly growing development reshaping Lakewood’s business landscape.

Police have confirmed the incident but have not yet released the name of the victim pending family notification.
