It is with deep regret that Lakewood Alerts shares the petirah of Eliyahu Schepansky z”l, an 18-year-old Lakewood bochur who was niftar early Sunday morning in a car crash in Hamilton, New Jersey.
Eli z”l, the son of R’ Moshe and Mrs. Leah Schepansky, and a friend had driven to Philadelphia early this morning to perform a chesed for a mutual friend. On the way back, they were involved in a crash with a truck, in which Eli was tragically killed and his friend seriously injured.
Askanim are currently working with local authorities in Hamilton to ensure kavod hameis.
Please daven for Mordechai Zelig ben Blima, the bochur seriously injured in the accident, whose condition was still unstable on Monday afternoon.
The levaya for Habachur Eli Schepansky z”l is scheduled to take place at 5:15 pm at the Lakewood Chapel, with kevurah in the adjacent bais olam.
