15-year-old Batsheva Cohen, a member of Lakewood’s Belz community, was tragically nifteres on Tuesday night after being struck by a vehicle on Route 70 and Vermont.
Hatzolah paramedics responded to the scene shortly before 10 pm and found Batsheva a”h in traumatic arrest. They transported her to Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood with CPR in progress.
Doctors valiantly fought to save her life, but tragically, it was not meant to be.
The levaya is scheduled to take place at 2:30 pm at the 7th Street Chapel with kevurah following in Lakewood.
