Lakewood Township will be holding its annual fireworks display at Lake Carasaljo tonight to celebrate Independence Day 2023 – the 247th birthday of the United States.
The festivities are set to begin at the All Wars Memorial Amphitheater on North Lake Drive at 8 pm, with music by the Wilbur Wittemann Patriotic Band. The fireworks display will commence around 9:15 pm, and can be viewed from both North and South Lake Drives.
Can’t make it to tonight’s show? The BlueClaws will be holding a fireworks display tomorrow night at ShoreTown Ballpark (formerly First Energy Park) after their game concludes, with the show expected to begin in the area of 9:30-10 pm. Those fireworks will be viewable all over the Cedarbridge area, even to those not in attendance at the baseball game.
