Toms River Police Department Announces Promotions and New Officers

The Toms River Police Department recently celebrated a wave of promotions and new hires.

Chief Peter Sundack has officially taken the helm of the department, bringing years of experience and dedication to the role. Joining him in leadership positions are Captain Guy Maire, Lieutenant Daniel Ruiz, Lieutenant Theodore Malony, and Lieutenant Andrew Chencharik, each recognized for their outstanding service and commitment to excellence.

The department also welcomed four new sergeants: Brian Appleby, Adam Worth, Matthew Crosta, and Nicholas Franco. These officers bring a wealth of experience and leadership skills that will further enhance the department’s operational effectiveness.

Additionally, three new patrol officers have joined the force: Taylor Boschetti, Christopher Serpico, and Hunter Calvetto.
