A lucky lottery player in Toms River is celebrating a life-changing win after hitting the $1.3 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on Monday night.
The winning ticket, purchased at a retailer on Hooper Avenue in Toms River, matched all five numbers drawn on November 25, securing a $1,308,245 jackpot, according to the New Jersey Lottery. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the jackpot-winning ticket.
The winning numbers for Monday’s drawing were 03, 19, 24, 27, and 39, with XTRA: 03 and Bullseye: 39.
Jersey Cash 5, a daily lottery game, allows players to pick five numbers between 1 and 45 for a chance at the jackpot. Adding the XTRA option can multiply non-jackpot prizes by up to five times, while the Bullseye feature offers another opportunity to win.
