At around 4 pm on Thursday, Toms River Fire Company No. 1, Toms River Fire Company No. 2, and East Dover Fire Company No. 4 were dispatched to a structure fire on the 400 block of River Terrace.
First arriving units confirmed a working fire and the incident was upgraded to a general alarm bringing in additional township resources.
The fire was brought under control in approximately 45 minutes. All occupants and pets in the home have been accounted for. No injuries have been reported at this time.
This fire is under investigation by the Toms River Bureau of Fire Prevention and Toms River Police Department.
