Today marks the 4th Yahrtzeit of Rav Shlomo Gissinger zt”l, the late revered rav of K’Hal Zichron Yaakov on Sunset Road.
Beyond being just an exemplary and beloved rav, Rav Shlomo was a world-class posek, a pioneering community builder, and a father figure to youth in crisis. Throughout his life, Rav Gissinger uplifted thousands of people, coming to the aid of countless individuals who found themselves in unenvious circumstances.
Rav Gissinger’s kever is located in the Lakewood bais olam, and hundreds are expected to daven at it today for yeshuos.
