Three-Alarm Fire Destroys Home In Manchester [PHOTOS]

On Sunday afternoon, a working structure fire was reported in “The Venue” development in Manchester. Firefighters arriving at the scene confirmed a fully involved residential structure fire along with involvement of a second home adjacent to the original fire with an attic fire apparent.

First arriving units (Engine 3301/JBMDL 6761)were on scene shortly after and began supression operations on both structures. Due to fire volume and the number of structures involved/exposed, a third alarm was struck for additional personnel per mutual aid agreements.

As conditions deteriorated, firefighter were ordered to immediately exit the structure and the fire was ultimately extinguished by way of water being poured on it from above, with firefighters utilizing a ladder truck.
